Hi,
Very sad news for me.
My computer is broken.
I don't know what exactly happened but it displays a black screen with a message that says: "Press DEL to enter SETUP or F8 to enter boot menu" I tried pressing everything, but nothing has happened and gets stuck there.
The keyboard is not recognised, or that's what I think, because it doesn't matter which key I press, there's no change at all. It's not a USB keyboard, so it is supposed to work fine, I tried connecting a new keyboard but the result is the same.
So, I'm without computer to work at the moment, I'll try to figure this out as soon as possible and I'll try to fix it (not by myself, of course)

If any of you had this problem and knows how to repair it, please please please let me know. I need this computer for school purposes also, I mean, I have everything there, so I'm really worried here.

T_________T

So it hangs on that screen? If I had to guess I'd say it was your CMOS battery that's died. Simple fix and not expensive at all, you could probably do it yourself with minimal fuss.  Typically they're a CR2032 watch battery (Round disc like ones, check what you have) and they're on your motherboard (See pctechnotes.com/wp-content/upl… ). If you replace that it might work again. No guarantees though, I couldn't say for sure without checking it in person. If you do try and fix it yourself please PLEASE make you earth yourself and make sure your PC is turned off and disconnected from the wall.

What that battery does is powers a small bit of memory that keeps your motherboard settings, without that I think it'll have trouble accessing them. If it's any consolation, the hard-drive with your work on should be fine in any case.

Hi, thank you for your response!
It worked fine a moment ago, so I recovered the more important files, and used the administrator tool to use the last version that it worked fine, so now the black screen doesn't appear anymore, but instead, a blue screen appeared with this error code: 0x0000008E.
So I don't know anymore.

Yeah that error code can cover quite a few things, the most common is a RAM failure but viruses etc can also cause it. Coupled with your previous problem I'd say it could be RAM but again no way of knowing for sure.

First i would also have thought about the keyboard but then the PC would have made another Message when a keyboard is missing.

You can still try to connect a USB Keyboard since it seems like the only Problem which hold the boot process.

Feel free to ask me if you need assistance further

It worked fine a moment ago, so I recovered the .sai file of your commission (so it's safe now)

The blue screen can be at least analyzed with a a tool called bluescreenview.

If you are on windows 7 then you find the minidump file on C:\Windows\minidump. You have to extract it from there cause this folder has different rights to open it. I can also check it for you if you want cause 0x0000008E is not the important error.
